Design Ideas, So You Know What You're In For

Hi! If you're reading this it's probably because I sent you this url so you can get an idea of what I'm looking to do at the wedding. So, read on for all of the ideas! I appreciate your offers of help, and will most likely take advantage of your generosity in the days leading up to the wedding.

First of all, I have the idea of making teacup candles for centerpieces on the table, if we have time.

Other table decor includes thrifted blue and blue/white and white plates, and blue glass bottles filled with wildflowers and clustered together. I want to keep it simple and keep the food (which should be amazingly good, fingers crossed) the centerpiece of the table setting.

Above our heads, I'd like to starch and/or use a mix of glue and water to stiffen doilies to shape into pendant lamps and to hang in mobile-like formations from the ceiling. I would be happy to ONLY use doilies for this project, but that will require a LOT more thrifting/eBaying of doilies. I have about 50 so far, which is barely the tip of the iceberg. Also, most of these will have to be glued, since liquid starch doesn't stay stiff in humidity (happy, happy Wisconsin summer humidity).

I also want to steal this idea for displaying photos.

Aaaaaannnddddd . . . boy, I can go on forever, can't I? Aaaaaand, I would also like to get a bunch of white paper globe lanterns, anchor them to the ground with tent stakes, and then put LED candle lights in them. I'm hoping they will resemble giant puffball mushrooms all aglow.

At the ceremony site, I only want to make tear drop-shaped fabric flag pennants. They would look similar to this one, though much longer, with tear drop shapes, and draped across the trees:

So! Finally, here are a TON of images that I hope will give you an idea of my inspiration, ideas, and hope for the look of the wedding.
